Dancehall Reggae Mzansi Awards 2015
The Dancehall Reggae Mzansi Awards, is an initiative that aims to reward excellence in South African Reggae & Dancehall music and embracing the good work done by Artists, Selectors and practitioners. It is an annual event with the mission to embrace Reggae and Dancehall and its impact in our communities.
Members of the public have one month to nominate an artist of their choice under the following categories.
Artist of the year
Upcoming artist
Song of the year
Album of the year
Best Reggae Band
Best Sound System
Selektor of the year
Best Male selektor
Best female selektor
Outstanding Woman in Reggae
The public can nominate an artist from South Africa, by sending their nominations via Wechat. A person will have to download Wechat, then search and add DrmAwards on their contacts.

Nomination lines are open from the 5th October to the 5th November. Nominees are to be announced on the 9th November.

DRMAwards2015 Ceremony will be held at Soweto Theatre, on the 19th of December, Dress code- Semi formal, theme of the event: I am because we are “Ubuntu” PROUDLY AFRICAN.
