The riddim is explored by Anto Neosoul who cautions the masses to “Slow Down” and refrain from the hollow pursuit of chasing after vanity while Yubu Kazungu exposes the fragile nature of the illusion the system spins around the minds of the oppressed in the revolutionary anthem “House of Glass”

King Mas - Potion [Glorious Hour Riddim]

The “Potion” is a haunting portrayal of a willing dance of seduction playing out between King Mas and a mysterious woman who has him under her “magic spell”. There are powerful offerings from powerful performers like the Germany based songstress Treesha Mwaura who chants a love song aimed at Reggae music itself as a magic formula to “Balance” her out and “stabilize” her as it does for Reggae lovers across the globe.

Frankie Dee rounds out the compilation nicely with his clever lyrical delivery on “Mari Go Round” which is sure to please all of the herbalists in the dancehall.
