Sivhara Mulaudzi to Launch Album in Venda

South African Reggae artist Sivhara Mulaudzi was born at Ha-Khakhu village in Venḓa, Limpopo. The conscious reggae man released his first album ‘No changes’ in 2009, followed by ‘Ho no tou vha vhutshilo’ (2010), ‘Ndo lora’ (2011), ‘Tshiphiri tshanga’ (2013’ and ‘Thithi’(2017). Since then, Sivhara has never looked back. His latest offering is titled ‘Big fat dog’ and will be officially launched in Makonde, Venda on 14 December 2019. The album is described as being in a class of its own.
The multi talented rastaman sings about social issues, love and peace. His energetic performances has not only brightened South African stages but has also mesmerised audiences in Zimbabwe, Botswana and quite recently Malawi where he has made a name for himself.
Sivhara Mulaudzi’s band boasts Nurunwa, a 10 year old bassist. MURUṄWA is a daughter to Sivhara Mulaudzi and she plays bass to the awe of many fans and now she’s done more than 100 gigs playing in her father’s band. You can catch Muruṅwa performing with her father on the 14th of December 2019 at Makonde. Sivhara Mulaudzi and Ras Mon will be launching their albums on the day. Other artists on stage include ‘Takzit’, ‘Shufflers’, ‘Jah Soldier’, ‘Ras Dreadie’, ‘Humbulani Ramagwedzha’ and ‘The Natty Lions’.
