Chris Hart teams-up with Ky-mani Marley in a soulfully-soothing, sing jay-styled song, “Boom Draw” – . The personal and musical personas of Marley and Hart blended instantly, right from the moment they met. The result of this creative collision of these gifted musicians produced the soulfully- soothing, sing jay-styled, “Boom Draw,” a single by Chris Hart and featuring Ky-Mani Marley.

“The goddess of ganja herself must have played a part as I wrote this,” explains a smiling Chris Hart. Chris, a longtime owner of Green Island Media, has been in the music business for decades and is an accomplished musician himself. However, “Boom Draw” is his first foray into releasing a single to USA Radio, as well as all other musical sale digital outlets.

Chris began writing “Boom Draw” before his chance meeting with Ky-Mani Marley. Hart wrote much of the song while traveling through Humboldt County, California – He’d find out later – this was a place filled with a healthy history for getting people high. When Chris showed Marley a demo of a song he had begun, Marley instantly agreed to work on the tune.

“There was a natural symbiotic nature to Marley and me working on “Boom Draw” in the studio,” explains Chris. “The song focuses not just on getting high yet digs deeper in a metaphysical way.” Hart ensured that lyrically, it touches – almost in a mindfulness method – on the medicinal magic marijuana can be. “The herb can be a healer – of soul, body, and mind,” offers Hart. Relax, this is an herbal hit for the ears, so cue up the profound peace and pleasure of the “Boom Draw.”
