Mojo Reggae All Day
Mojo Reggae All Day is an event that takes place every two months at Mojo Market in Sea Point, Cape Town. It debuted in February 2024 initiated by the prolific Conquerors Reggae Band. They were initially looking for a venue to host a once off Black History Reggae Month event with live music. Mr. Roy of Mojo Market instead decided on a Reggae All Day Event, placing the event in their Extra Ordinary Special Event Every Month.
The first event was then held on February 24, featuring 5 Bands and DJ Bashmouth held it down on the decks. It was such a huge success, starting from 1pm to 1am.
The follow-up event then took place in May, and more Reggae bands were invited to grace the stage of Mojo Reggae All Day. And it was bigger.
The event has now become the most anticipated Reggae event in Cape Town and all thanks to the collective works done by artists, bands and DJs. Showing that Reggae in Cape Town is Bigger than what is currently perceived to be.
