The Black Missionaries – Kuimba 13
Kuimba is a Swahili word that translates to “to sing”. In Malawi, it is often used in a musical context, referring to the act of vocalizing melody and rhythm; and that has been the mission of The Black Missionaries with the Kiumba Albums.
The historic Reggae band of Malawi, The Black Missionaries affectionately known as Ma Blacks, are working on the 13 instalment of the Kuimba Album Series. They are also working on aligning themselves to the Digital landscape to bring all the previous Kuimba Albums to the digital platforms, as they could not be previously accessed digitally. Kuimba 13 is their latest Album, which is set to drop in the year 2025, after a short hiatus. To date they have released four extracts from the Album accompanied by two videos and more singles are expected to drop before the final release of the Album.
