NKULEE DUBE received the ultimate distinction of having the City of Buffalo issue a proclamation naming June the 10th “NKULEE DUBE DAY”. The formal proclamation certificate was presented to her by Mayor Byron Brown of the City of Buffalo at an intimate event after her performance at the 2018 Sankofa Day Block Party and Concert “Between A Rock & Hard Place”. Buffalo is the second largest city in the state of New York and the 81st-most populous city in the United States.
The New York State Senate & Senator Tim Kennedy also honored Nkulee for Exemplary Service and presented her with the official certificate.
The state of New York Legislature of Erie County & the Hon.Barbara Miller-Williams officially welcomed her to Buffalo state during the ceremony where she received the official mayoral certificate.
A huge congratulations for these awards to NKULEE DUBE as she is the first artist to ever gain such attention and recognition with these multiple proclamations. Nkulee richly deserves this and more on the journey forward.
