Perfect Giddimani, who rose to international fame with his timeless tune, Hand Cart Bwoy released in 2005, has always had a strong affinity to the Mother land.
“I love all my country cousins. I get a lot of energy, good vibes and support from the masses so it’s only natural that I do the same in return respectfully. They love Giddimani for real times three. I can’t hide my tears. That’s family for life cuz. “~ Perfect Giddimani.
He expressed his appreciation for his Ugandan cousins through the uplifting song Respect Kampala with purposeful lyrics. He gave a nod to Kenya with the specially titled Riddim he produced, “Sheng Sleng” Riddim and for his Nigerian cousins he gifted them with the track Nigerian Girl off the “Reggae Farm Work” Album. In 2023, he penned a powerful song titled Rise Again, dedicated to South Africa, where he encourages South Africans natives to take back the land from settlers. Rise above adversity and embrace their true potential.
Soon after the confirmation of his first time performance in South Africa, he penned another song for Mzansi, this time for Johannesburg, the city of Gold, also known as Joburg, which is the title of the track. He wrote the song a year earlier, recorded it only last month, and his oncoming arrival in Joburg set the perfect timing for the release.
