Reggae Vibes inna National Arts Fringe Festival 2017

Eastern Cape hardest working band, Skank and The Roots, have just announced that they will be plalying at the National Arts Fringe Festival that will be taking place in Grahamstown on 29 June – 09 July 2017. The National Arts Festival is South Africa’s biggest annual celebration of the arts on the African continent, held in the small university city of Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape.

Skank and the Roots the reggae band from Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape with a groovy roots reggae sound, led by the energetic voice of charismatic lead singer Eric “Skank” Mooi will be taking Reggae Vibez inna G-town Arts Fest 2017. Earlier in the year they were in Johannesburg to showcase at the SA Music Week, and on their return to the Eastern Cape they immediately released their album Jah Love distributed by Distrokid and available on all digital platforms.

Their Grahamstown gigs will be hosted by Andile Poswa of Bay TV’s Isingqi Samarasta Reggae Show. Their live performance will be livicated to the global celebration of July 01, International Reggae Day.
